Getting There

    From downtown Teresópolis, take the 'Soberbo' bus towards the park entrance. Alternatively, take the more frequent 'Alto' bus and get off at Praçinha do Alto, followed by a 10-minute walk south to the entrance. Both buses can be caught along Av. Almirante Lúcio Meira. The bus fare is approximately R$4.

    A taxi ride from downtown Teresópolis to the park entrance costs around R$30. Taxis are readily available in the city center.

  • Car

    From the center of Teresópolis, head east on Rua Oliveira Botelho towards Av. Rotariana. Continue straight for about 2 km, and you will see the entrance to Parque Nacional da Serra dos Órgãos. Note that the roads can be winding.
