From downtown Teresópolis, take either the 'Soberbo' bus (R$4) or the 'Alto' bus. The 'Alto' bus is more frequent; get off at Praçinha do Alto and walk south for 10 minutes to the park's main entrance. Poço do Castelo is located 100 meters from the park entrance. Both buses can be caught along Av Almirante Lúcio Meira.

A taxi from downtown Teresópolis to the Parque Nacional Serra dos Órgãos entrance will cost approximately R$30. From the entrance, Poço do Castelo is a short walk of 100 meters.

From the Parque Nacional Serra dos Órgãos entrance, Poço do Castelo is located just 100 meters up the road towards the dam ('Barragem'). Follow the signs within the park to reach the 'Poço'. There is no additional cost to access Poço do Castelo once inside the park.
