From the center of Borovets, head southeast on the main road (A1) towards Samokov. Continue on this road for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for signs indicating 'Национален парк Рила' and the entrance to the park. Once you reach the park entrance, there might be a small fee for parking, so ensure you have some Bulgarian lev on hand.

From Borovets, you can catch a bus to Samokov from the main bus station. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. From there, you may need to walk a short distance to the park entrance. Be prepared for a small fee for the bus ride and possibly a parking fee if you drive.
