Once you reach Sofia, take the exit for 'Vitosha Mountain'. Continue on the main road until you reach the Boyana district. Look for signs directing you to 'Boyana Waterfall' or 'Boyanski Manastir'. You can park in designated areas near the Boyana Monastery, which is close to the waterfall trailhead. Be aware that parking might incur a small fee, usually around 2-5 BGN per hour.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from central Sofia to the Boyana area. Start by taking the Metro Line 1 to 'Vitosha' station. From there, transfer to bus number 64 that goes directly to the Boyana Monastery. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Boyana Monastery stop, follow the signs leading to the waterfall. The trail begins just a short walk from the monastery. A one-way ticket for the bus costs around 1.60 BGN.

After reaching the Boyana Monastery, you need to hike approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach the Boyana Waterfall. Follow the red trail marked on signs along the path. The hike is moderately steep and takes around 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace. Be sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and carry water, as the trail can be rocky and uneven.
