If you are traveling by car from Plovdiv to Boyana Waterfall, start by heading northwest on the A1 highway. Take exit 10 towards Botevgrad and continue on the A1 for approximately 30 km. Merge onto the E79 road heading towards Sofia. After about 25 km, take exit 2 towards Samokov. Continue on this road until you reach the town of Samokov. From Samokov, follow the signs towards Borovets and then towards the Boyana Waterfall. You will find a parking area near the trailhead. Be aware that parking may incur a small fee, typically around 5 BGN.

Public Transportation
To reach Boyana Waterfall using public transportation, first take a bus from the Central Bus Station in Plovdiv to Samokov. Buses run frequently, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Samokov, you will need to take a local minibus or taxi to the Boyana Waterfall trailhead. The minibus will drop you off at a point close to the entrance. The total cost for the bus ride is approximately 10 BGN, and the local minibus or taxi will cost around 5-10 BGN, depending on your negotiation.
