Getting There

    From any location in Northeast Bulgaria, head towards Sofia. Use the A2 highway for the fastest route. Once you reach Sofia, follow the signs for 'Boyana Waterfall'. You will exit the highway and follow the signs leading to Vitosha Mountain. Continue on the road until you reach the Boyana Waterfall parking area. There are no entrance fees for the waterfall itself, but parking fees may apply depending on the area.

    First, take a bus or train from your location in Northeast Bulgaria to Sofia. Once in Sofia, head to the 'Vitosha' metro station. From there, take bus number 64 or 73, which will take you towards the Boyana Waterfall area. Disembark at the 'Boyana Waterfall' stop. The walk from the stop to the waterfall is approximately 30 minutes along a well-marked trail. Bus tickets cost around 1.60 BGN (Bulgarian Lev).
