If you're driving, head towards Vitosha Mountain from Sofia. Use GPS navigation to enter the coordinates: 42.6138321, 23.2382824. Once you reach the Vitosha Nature Park entrance, continue along the main road. Look for signs directing you to Златните мостове (the Golden Bridges) area. Park your car in the designated parking area near the entrance of the Златните мостове, where the road ends.

Public Transportation
To reach Заслон Златните мостове by public transport, start in Sofia. Take bus number 63 or 88 from the city center (you can catch them from the Serdika metro station). You will need to get off at the last stop, which is ‘Aleko’ station. From there, follow the road signs leading to Златните мостове. The walk from Aleko station to the Златните мостове area is approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the path can be rocky.

If you're already in Vitosha Mountain and are near the Aleko area, you can hike to Заслон Златните мостове. Follow the marked trails that lead to Златните мостове, which is a popular hiking destination. The hike is relatively easy and takes about 1-1.5 hours from Aleko. Make sure to bring water and snacks, as there are no facilities along the way.
