Car
If traveling by car, start from the town of Samokov. Head southwest on the E79 road towards Rila Monastery. After approximately 20 kilometers, turn left onto the road leading to Rila National Park. Follow the signs to the Goritsa Waterfall Ecopath. The road will take you through scenic landscapes. You will need to park at the designated parking area near the ecopath entrance, which is free of charge. From the parking lot, it's a short 1.5 km walk to the waterfall.

Public Transportation
To reach Goritsa Waterfall by public transportation, take a bus from Sofia to Samokov. Buses depart regularly from the Sofia Central Bus Station. Once in Samokov, you can take a local taxi or look for a shuttle service that goes to Rila National Park. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they can take you to the Goritsa Waterfall area. Expect to pay approximately 10-15 BGN for the taxi ride. After arriving at the park entrance, walk about 1.5 km to reach the waterfall.

If you're already in the Rila Mountains and prefer hiking, you can start from the nearby village of Govedartsi. From Govedartsi, follow the marked hiking trails leading towards the Goritsa Waterfall. The hike is moderate and will take about 2-3 hours. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring water. This route offers beautiful views of the surrounding nature.
