Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, head to the town of Samokov. From Samokov, take the road towards Borovets. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will reach the Borovets resort area. Follow the signs to the Yastrebets Ski Lift. There is a parking area near the ski lift where you can park your car (note that parking fees may apply). From here, you will take the Yastrebets lift to the upper station.

  • Ski Lift

    The Yastrebets Ski Lift will take you to an elevation of about 2360 meters. The lift operates daily, but be sure to check the schedule for any seasonal changes. Once you arrive at the top, follow the marked hiking trails towards Malka Musala Peak. The trail is well-maintained, but be prepared for a steep ascent.
