Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Samokov. Drive towards the Rila Monastery, following signs for Rila National Park. Note that there is a parking fee at the lift station, typically around 5 BGN per day. After parking, take the Yastrebets gondola lift, which will take you up to a higher elevation.
