Getting There

Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest major city, which is Samokov. From Samokov, drive towards Rila Monastery on road 82 for approximately 25 kilometers. Once you reach the monastery, continue on the same road until you reach the turnoff for road 62 towards Borovets. Follow road 62 for about 8 kilometers until you reach the parking area for the Musala lift. Park your car here (note that there may be a parking fee). From the lift station, take the gondola up to Musala, which offers stunning views of the Rila Mountains.
