From central Sofia, take the E80 road heading northwest towards Samokov. Continue on E80 for about 40 km until you reach the village of Gara Lakatnik. Look for signs directing you to River Rafting Iskyr. The rafting center is located near the Gara Lakatnik railway station, which you will see on your right just before entering the village. There is parking available near the rafting center, but it may incur a small fee.

Public Transportation (Train)
From Sofia, go to the Central Railway Station and take a train towards Mezdra or Gorna Oryahovitsa. Get off at Gara Lakatnik station. The train journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Gara Lakatnik, walk towards the river; the rafting center is a short 10-minute walk from the station. Be sure to check the train schedule ahead of time, as it may vary on weekends.

From Sofia, head to the Ovcha Kupel Bus Station. Take a bus to the village of Gara Lakatnik. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Gara Lakatnik, the rafting center is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs towards the river.
