Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards the village of Tatul, which is approximately 17 km northeast of the town of Momchilgrad. From Momchilgrad, take the road towards the village of Tatul (signposted). After about 15 minutes, you will reach the village. Once you arrive in Tatul, follow the signs leading to the Thracian Rock-Hewn Sanctuary. There will be a parking area available near the sanctuary. Please note that there may be a small fee for parking, usually around 2-5 Bulgarian Lev.

Public Transportation
To reach the Thracian Rock-Hewn Sanctuary using public transportation, first take a bus from the main bus station in Momchilgrad to the village of Tatul. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time. Once you arrive in Tatul, you can either walk (approximately 1 km) to the sanctuary or take a taxi if available. Taxis may cost around 5-10 Bulgarian Lev for the short distance.

If you are in the vicinity of Tatul and prefer to walk, the sanctuary is accessible on foot. From the center of Tatul village, follow the local signs towards the sanctuary. It's a scenic walk of about 1 km and should take approximately 15-20 minutes. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes, as the path can be uneven in places.
