Getting There

    From the center of Espargos, walk towards the main road (Rua 5 de Julho). Head southwest until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rua de Lisboa. Continue walking on this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the end of Rua de Lisboa, turn left onto the N1 road and continue walking for approximately 2 kilometers. Look for signs directing you towards Pavoacao Velha. After this, you will need to follow the signs leading to Morro de Areia Nature Reserve, which will be on your right side.

    From Espargos, head to the bus station located near the city center. Look for a bus that is heading towards Pavoacao Velha. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Pavoacao Velha, get off at the nearest stop to Morro de Areia Nature Reserve. Ask the bus driver or locals for the exact stop if you are unsure. After getting off, walk in the direction of the nature reserve, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs leading to Morro de Areia.
