  • Car

    If you are driving from the center of Praia de Diante, head southwest on Rua da Praia towards Avenida dos Pescadores. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left fork onto Estrada da Praia Negra, which is well-marked with signs pointing towards Praia Negra. Drive for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the beach. Please note that there may be a small parking fee, usually around 100 CVE.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Praia Negra by public transportation, locate the nearest bus stop in Praia de Diante. Look for a local 'aluguer' (shared taxi) heading towards Praia Negra. Buses typically run every 30 minutes. The fare is around 200 CVE per person. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will drop you off at the entrance to Praia Negra. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the beach.

    If you prefer to walk from the center of Praia de Diante, start by heading southwest on Rua da Praia towards Avenida dos Pescadores. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach Estrada da Praia Negra. Turn left and continue walking for an additional 3 kilometers. The path is relatively straightforward, but be sure to wear comfortable shoes as parts of the trail may be uneven. Upon arrival, you will see the beautiful Praia Negra sign marking the beach entrance.
