Once you reach Assomada, you will need to take a shared taxi (known locally as 'Aluguer') to the entrance of the park. The taxi ride will take about 15-20 minutes.

    After arriving in Assomada, go to the Aluguer stop, which is usually near the bus terminal. Look for a shared taxi heading towards Ribeira Principal or Serra Malagueta. These taxis are often waiting for passengers and will leave once they are full. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Make sure to tell the driver your destination so they can drop you off at the entrance of the park.
