Once you disembark, walk east on Alvarado St for about 0.3 miles until you reach Pacific St. Turn left onto Pacific St, and continue walking another 0.2 miles; Colton Hall Museum will be on your right at 570 Pacific St.

Rent a bicycle in Big Sur from a local rental shop. Head north on Highway 1 towards Monterey, which is about 26 miles away. The ride will take you through stunning coastal views. Continue for about 0.2 miles, and Colton Hall Museum will be on your right at 570 Pacific St.

If you are close to the Big Sur River Inn, you can start your journey on foot. Walk north along the river path towards Highway 1. Once you reach Highway 1, follow the pedestrian path to the north until you reach the junction with Carmel Valley Rd. Cross safely at the designated crosswalk and continue north on the highway. After about 26 miles of walking, you will reach Monterey. From here, navigate to Pacific St and turn left. Walk for about 0.2 miles, and you will find Colton Hall Museum at 570 Pacific St.
