Walking
From the center of Carmel-by-the-Sea, head southeast on Ocean Avenue towards San Carlos Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Junipero Street, then turn right onto Junipero Street. Follow Junipero until you reach 7th Avenue and turn left. Walk along 7th Avenue, which will lead you into Monterey. As you continue, 7th Avenue will become Pacific Street. Continue on Pacific Street until you reach Calle Principal. Turn left on Calle Principal, and Larkin House will be on your right at 464 Calle Principal.

From Carmel-by-the-Sea, walk to the nearest bus stop on Ocean Avenue to take the Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) bus Line 2. Board the bus heading towards Monterey. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Alvarado Street & Calle Principal. From there, walk a short distance east along Calle Principal, and you will find Larkin House at 464 Calle Principal.
