Walking
From the center of Carmel-by-the-Sea, head southeast on Ocean Avenue towards San Carlos Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Lighthouse Avenue. Turn left onto Lighthouse Avenue and follow it for approximately 1.5 miles. You will eventually reach Monterey, where Lighthouse Avenue becomes Pacific Street.
