From there, you will walk west along Carmel Valley Road (CA-68) for about 4 miles. Follow the signs for Garland Ranch Regional Park. The park entrance will be on your left at 700 W Carmel Valley Rd.

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from any point in Big Sur and head towards the nearest bike path that connects to Carmel Valley Road (CA-68). You can take the scenic route along the coast before heading inland. Follow CA-1 north until you reach the intersection with Carmel Valley Road.
