    Start your journey at the center of Carmel-by-the-Sea, at Ocean Avenue and San Carlos Street. Head east on Ocean Avenue towards the beach until you reach the intersection with Mission Street. Turn left onto Mission Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with 5th Avenue. From there, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Lighthouse Avenue. Turn left onto Lighthouse Avenue and continue heading north. After a few blocks, you will reach a bus stop at Lighthouse and 8th Street. Catch the Monterey-Salinas Transit Line 1 heading towards Monterey. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop near 777 Pearl St, which is the location of Dennis The Menace Playground.

    Begin at the bike rental shops located on Ocean Avenue. Rent a bike and head east on Ocean Avenue towards the beach, then take a right onto Scenic Road to enjoy the coastal views.
