From the Big Sur Visitor Center, head north on Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway). Continue walking along the highway for approximately 19 miles until you reach Monterey. Once in Monterey, turn left onto Washington Street and walk until you reach 425 Washington St, where the Monterey County Youth Museum is located.

Take the Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) bus from Big Sur to Monterey. You can catch the bus at the Big Sur Station. Board the MST Line 22, which travels along Highway 1. After about 30-40 minutes, get off at the stop closest to Monterey's downtown. From there, walk towards Washington Street and head east until you arrive at 425 Washington St, the location of the Monterey County Youth Museum.

If you are renting a bicycle, start at the Big Sur River Inn and ride north on Highway 1. Follow the scenic route for about 19 miles until you reach Monterey. Once you arrive in Monterey, turn left onto Washington Street and ride until you reach 425 Washington St, home of the Monterey County Youth Museum.
