    From the center of Carmel-by-the-Sea, head east on Ocean Avenue toward San Carlos Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Highway 1. Cross over to the bus stop where you can catch the Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) bus line 1 or 2. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride to Monterey. Get off at the Cannery Row stop. From there, walk south on Cannery Row for about 5 minutes, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium will be on your left at 886 Cannery Row.

    If you're renting a bike in Carmel-by-the-Sea, start on Ocean Avenue heading east, then turn right onto San Carlos Street. Follow the road until it merges with the Monterey Bay Coastal Recreational Trail. Continue on the trail, which will eventually lead you directly to Cannery Row. Once you reach Cannery Row, continue biking until you see the Monterey Bay Aquarium on your left at 886 Cannery Row.
