Plaza de Monterey is easily accessible on foot from anywhere on Cannery Row. If you're coming from the Monterey Bay Aquarium, simply walk south along Cannery Row for about 5 minutes. The plaza will be on your left, offering a view of the bay. From Fisherman's Wharf, walk east along the Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail, then turn left onto Cannery Row. The plaza will be on your right. No costs are associated with walking.

The Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) provides several bus routes that stop near Cannery Row. From the Monterey Transit Plaza, take the free MST Trolley or any MST bus route serving Cannery Row. Get off at a stop along Cannery Row, such as the Monterey Bay Aquarium stop, and walk a short distance to the plaza. A single ride on MST costs $2.50, but a day pass is capped at $6, offering unlimited rides. The free MST Trolley is, as the name suggests, free.
