Car
Start your journey from the nearest major city, Fresno, CA. Take CA-99 South from Fresno for about 30 miles. Merge onto CA-198 East toward Visalia. Continue on CA-198 for about 40 miles until you reach the entrance of Sequoia National Park. At the entrance, pay the park entry fee, which is $35 per vehicle (valid for 7 days). Once inside the park, follow Generals Hwy for about 20 miles. Look for signs directing you to Tunnel Rock, which will be on your right. There is a designated parking area nearby.

Public Transportation
If you are traveling by bus, take a Greyhound or local bus to Visalia, CA. From Visalia, use the Visalia Transit bus service to reach the Sequoia National Park entrance. This may require a transfer, so check the schedule ahead of time. Upon reaching the park entrance, you will need to pay the entry fee of $35 per vehicle (valid for 7 days) to enter Sequoia National Park. Once inside, there are limited shuttle services within the park. You may need to arrange a taxi or rideshare for the last leg of the journey to Tunnel Rock, which is approximately 20 miles from the entrance along Generals Hwy.

For the adventurous, you can bike to Tunnel Rock. Starting in Three Rivers, CA, you can rent a bike if needed. Head towards the entrance of Sequoia National Park via CA-198. The distance from Three Rivers to the park entrance is about 4 miles. After entering the park, follow Generals Hwy for about 20 miles to reach Tunnel Rock. Make sure to plan for a return journey and check park regulations regarding bicycles.
