If you're driving from the Central Coast, take US-101 South towards San Diego. Merge onto I-5 South and continue for about 2 hours. Take exit 17A for I-8 East toward El Centro. After about 3 miles, take exit 1C for Harbor Dr. Continue on Harbor Dr, then turn left onto San Diego Ave. Follow San Diego Ave for about 1 mile, and you will see Old Town San Diego State Historic Park on your right at the intersection with Twiggs St. Parking is available at the park but may incur a fee, generally around $10 per day.
