If you are driving from downtown San Diego, head northwest on I-5 N. Merge onto I-8 W toward San Diego. Take exit 3A for I-5 N toward Los Angeles. Continue on I-5 N and merge onto I-805 N. Follow signs for I-8 E and take exit 1C toward Old Town. Merge onto San Diego Ave and continue straight. Turn right onto Presidio Dr. Fort Stockton will be on your left at 32.7572596, -117.1942886. There is free street parking available in the area.

Public Transportation
To reach Fort Stockton using public transportation, take the San Diego Trolley Green Line from downtown San Diego. Get off at the Old Town Transit Center. From there, you can either take a short 10-minute walk or use a rideshare service to reach Fort Stockton. If walking, head northwest on San Diego Ave, then turn right onto Presidio Dr, where Fort Stockton is located. Please note that the Trolley fare is approximately $2.50 one way.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike rental shops in downtown San Diego. Take the bike path along San Diego Ave toward Old Town and then continue to Presidio Dr. The total distance is about 3 miles and should take approximately 15-20 minutes.
