If you're starting from the Daly City BART Station, exit the station and head east on BART Way. After a short walk, turn left onto Junipero Serra Boulevard. Continue walking straight for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with Mission Street. Turn right onto Mission Street. Follow Mission Street for about 1.5 miles. You'll pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Once you reach the intersection of Mission Street and Amazon Avenue, you will find the Jerry Garcia sidewalk marker on the corner. It is located in the Excelsior neighborhood of San Francisco, just across the border from Daly City.

From Daly City BART Station, take the BART train towards San Francisco. Get off at the Balboa Park Station. Once you exit the station, head east on Balboa Park BART Plaza.
