Public Transit - Bus and Ferry
From Hayward, take the AC Transit bus line 62 towards the Bay Fair BART station. Get off at the Bay Fair BART station. Once there, board a BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Ride until you reach the Embarcadero station. Exit the train and follow the signs to the Ferry Terminal. From the Ferry Terminal, head to the Alcatraz Landing at Pier 33, which is within walking distance. Look for signs directing you to Pier 33.

From Hayward, take a BART train from the Hayward station towards San Francisco. Get off at the Embarcadero BART station. After exiting the station, follow the signs to the Ferry Building. From the Ferry Building, it is a short walk to Pier 33, where you will find Alcatraz Landing. Look for signs pointing toward Pier 33.
