    From Hayward City Center, walk to the Hayward BART Station. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Get off at the Montgomery St. station. Transfer to the Muni bus line 5-Fulton at the bus stop near the station. Ride the 5-Fulton bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at Stow Lake, Golden Gate Park. From the bus stop, walk a short distance to the lake.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Hayward. Start your ride towards the Bay Trail, following the path along the water towards San Francisco. Continue on the trail until you reach the Golden Gate Park area. Once you arrive at the park, navigate towards Stow Lake, which is centrally located within the park.

    If you are staying in Hayward, you can walk to the Hayward BART Station located at 1001 B St. Once there, board the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. After arriving at Montgomery St. station, transfer to Muni by walking to the bus stop and catch the 5-Fulton bus. Ride until you reach Stow Lake. After getting off, walk into the park to reach the lake.
