Public Bus
To reach Oak Canyon Nature Center from Huntington Beach, you can take the OCTA bus. Start by heading to the nearest bus stop on Pacific Coast Highway. Catch the 1 bus northbound towards Long Beach. After about 25 minutes, get off at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and 5th Street. Transfer to the 57 bus towards Disneyland. Ride this bus for approximately 35 minutes and get off at the 'Ball Rd-57 Fwy' station. From there, transfer to the 29 bus towards Anaheim Hills and ride it for about 15 minutes to the 'Canyon Rim Park' stop. Walk east on Walnut Canyon Rd for about 10 minutes until you reach Oak Canyon Nature Center.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Huntington Beach. Start your journey by heading north on the Pacific Coast Highway. Continue on this highway for approximately 6 miles until you reach the intersection with the 5 Freeway. Turn right onto the bike path that leads towards Anaheim Hills. Follow the bike path for about 5 miles, then take a left onto E Walnut Canyon Rd. Continue straight for another mile until you arrive at Oak Canyon Nature Center.

Walking
Walking from Huntington Beach to Oak Canyon Nature Center is quite a trek, but if you're up for it, start by heading east on Warner Ave. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the 5 Freeway. You can cross at designated crosswalks and then follow the signage towards Anaheim Hills. This route is approximately 12 miles and will take you through some residential areas. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated as it may take around 3-4 hours.
