From Joshua Tree, go to the nearest bus stop located at the intersection of Park Boulevard and Highway 62. Board the Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) Route 15 bus towards Palm Desert. The bus will take you through scenic routes and drop you off at the Palm Desert stop. Once you arrive at the Palm Desert stop, walk east for about 5 minutes along Highway 111 until you reach the Palm Springs Art Museum located at 72567 CA-111.

If you're renting a bike, start at the Joshua Tree Visitor Center on Park Boulevard. Head south on Park Boulevard until you reach the intersection with Highway 62. Turn left onto Highway 62 and continue pedaling. After approximately 12 miles (about 1 hour), you will reach Palm Desert. Follow the signs for CA-111 and the Palm Springs Art Museum will be on your right at 72567 CA-111.
