Public Bus
From the center of Joshua Tree, head to the nearest bus stop located at the corner of Highway 62 and Park Boulevard. Board the Morongo Basin Transit Authority bus heading towards Twentynine Palms. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Twentynine Palms bus stop, walk east along Utah Trail for about 15 minutes. The Sky’s The Limit Observatory will be on your left at 9697 Utah Trail.

Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Joshua Tree. After renting, head east on Highway 62, then turn left onto Utah Trail. Follow Utah Trail for about 6 miles, which should take around 30-40 minutes. You'll find Sky’s The Limit Observatory on your right at 9697 Utah Trail.

If you are feeling adventurous and it’s a nice day, you can walk to the Sky’s The Limit Observatory. From the center of Joshua Tree, walk east on Highway 62 for about 6 miles, then turn left onto Utah Trail. Continue walking for about 1 mile until you reach the observatory on your right at 9697 Utah Trail. Be sure to bring water and wear comfortable shoes!
