    If you are in La Jolla, head to the nearest bus stop. You can catch the MTS bus route 30 or 31 towards Downtown San Diego. Get on the bus and stay on until you reach the 'Broadway & Pacific Hwy' stop. From there, walk south on Pacific Highway for about 5 minutes, then take a left onto Harbor Drive. The San Diego Convention Center will be on your right at 111 Harbor Dr.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the bike rental shops in La Jolla. Start cycling on Torrey Pines Rd heading south. Continue until you reach the intersection with Garnet Ave, then turn left and follow Garnet Ave to Mission Blvd. Turn right on Mission Blvd and continue to the end where it meets Pacific Beach. Follow the coast along Mission Blvd which will eventually lead you to the waterfront. Continue biking along the waterfront until you reach the San Diego Convention Center located at 111 Harbor Dr.

    If you prefer walking, start at La Jolla Cove and head east on Coast Blvd. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Prospect St. Turn right on Prospect St and continue until you reach Torrey Pines Rd. Cross Torrey Pines Rd and continue down to the coast. From here, follow the walking path along the coast that leads you south towards downtown San Diego. Keep walking until you reach the San Diego Convention Center at 111 Harbor Dr.
