Getting There

  • Public Transit - Bus

    From downtown Livermore, head to the nearest bus stop for the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA) buses. You can take the Route 10 bus towards the Livermore Transit Center. Disembark at the Livermore Transit Center. From there, transfer to the Route 70 bus towards Fremont. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at Mission Blvd & Decoto Rd. From there, it is approximately a 1.5-mile walk to Mission Peak Regional Preserve. Head north on Mission Blvd, then turn left on to the entrance road for the preserve.

  • Bicycle

    Starting from downtown Livermore, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop. Head south on S Livermore Ave and continue until you reach the intersection with East Avenue. Turn left onto East Avenue and continue on this road, which will take you towards the eastern side of Livermore. Follow East Avenue until it merges with N Livermore Ave. Continue north until you reach Mission Blvd. Turn right and follow Mission Blvd until you arrive at the entrance of Mission Peak Regional Preserve.

    If you are in the central part of Livermore, you can walk to Mission Peak Regional Preserve. Head east on 1st St until you reach North Livermore Ave, then turn left and continue heading north. Walk along North Livermore Ave until you reach Mission Blvd. Turn right and follow Mission Blvd for approximately 2 miles until you reach the entrance of Mission Peak Regional Preserve.
