From downtown Monterey, head east on Alvarado Street towards the coast. Continue straight as Alvarado Street turns into Cannery Row. Follow Cannery Row until you reach the intersection with Lighthouse Avenue. Turn left onto Lighthouse Avenue and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by several shops and restaurants. After reaching the end of Lighthouse Avenue, turn right onto 17th Street. Follow 17th Street for a short distance until you reach the end at the intersection with Pacific Avenue. Turn left onto Pacific Avenue and continue until you reach 9th Street. Finally, turn right onto 9th Street, and you will find the Pacific Grove Butterfly House at 309 9th St on your left.
