If you are in downtown Monterey, start at the historic Custom House located at 20 Custom House Plaza. Head southeast toward the waterfront along the path that leads you to the harbor. As you reach the edge of the water, turn left onto the path that runs along the coast. Continue walking along the coastline, enjoying the views of the bay. After about a 15-minute walk, you will reach the entrance of Cannery Row. Keep walking straight until you see a large sign for Cannery Row. Once you reach Cannery Row, look for 3 Portola Plaza on your right-hand side; The Original Monterey Walking Tours is located there.

From the Monterey Transit Plaza, take the MST Bus Route 1 towards Cannery Row. The bus stops are located next to the Plaza. Board the bus and remain on it for about 10 minutes until you reach the 'Cannery Row' stop. Alight from the bus and walk towards the waterfront.
