You will pass by various shops and restaurants, which provide a vibrant atmosphere. As you approach the coast, you will see the entrance to Old Fisherman's Wharf on your right at 1 Old Fisherman’s Wharf. This walk typically takes about 10-15 minutes.

If you prefer not to walk, you can take the Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) bus. Board the MST Line 1 at any bus stop along Alvarado Street heading towards the Wharf. The fare is approximately $2.00 for a single ride. After 2 stops, disembark at the Fisherman's Wharf stop. From there, it's a short walk to Old Fisherman's Wharf, which is just a block away.

For a more adventurous option, consider renting a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Downtown Monterey. Once you have your bike, ride towards the coast via Cannery Row, which is a scenic route. The distance is about 1 mile and should take around 5-10 minutes. When you reach the Wharf area, park your bike at one of the bike racks available near Old Fisherman's Wharf.
