Walking
If you are in downtown Monterey, start at the intersection of Alvarado Street and Del Monte Avenue. Head west on Alvarado Street until you reach the coastline. Once you reach the coast, turn right onto Cannery Row. Continue walking along Cannery Row for about 0.7 miles (approximately 15-20 minutes). The Monterey Bay Aquarium will be on your left at 886 Cannery Row. You will see the large building with the aquarium logo and a scenic ocean view.
