Getting There

    From the main entrance of the Monterey Bay Aquarium, exit and turn right onto the path along the coastline. Continue walking along the scenic Cannery Row, enjoying the views of the bay. Follow the path until you reach the intersection with David Avenue. Turn left and continue straight until you reach the entrance of the Monterey Acquarium, which will be on your right side. This walk is approximately 0.5 miles and should take about 10-15 minutes.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Monterey Bay Aquarium, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Ocean View Boulevard. Wait for the MST (Monterey-Salinas Transit) Bus #1 or #2 heading towards Cannery Row. The fare is approximately $2.00. After a short ride of about 5 minutes, get off at the stop nearest to the Monterey Acquarium. The aquarium will be a short walk away, and you can follow the signs to reach your destination.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops near the aquarium. Once you have a bike, exit the aquarium and cycle along the bike path that runs parallel to the coastline. Follow the signs leading to the Monterey Acquarium.
