    From the heart of Downtown Oakland, if you are near the intersection of 14th St and Broadway, head east on 14th St towards the Civic Center. Continue walking for about three blocks until you reach 125 14th St. The Oakland History Center will be on your left side, just past the intersection with Franklin St.

    If you prefer not to walk, you can take AC Transit Bus #11 or #14 from any nearby bus stop in Downtown Oakland. Board the bus heading towards East Oakland. Get off at the stop on 14th St and Franklin St. From there, it is just a short walk (about 2 minutes) west on 14th St. The Oakland History Center will be located at 125 14th St, on your right.
