Driving
The Coachella Valley Preserve is located approximately 10 miles east of Palm Springs. Take Interstate 10 to the Bob Hope Drive exit. Head north and turn right onto Varner Road, then left onto Ramon Road. Continue east to Thousand Palms Canyon Road and turn north. Drive approximately two miles to the preserve entrance. Parking is available, but may be limited, especially on weekends. If the main lot is full, roadside parking is available. Be aware of car break-ins. There are no fees for parking or entrance.

The SunLine Transit Agency provides bus service throughout the Coachella Valley. Route 111 connects Palm Springs to Coachella. Check the SunLine Transit Agency website for schedules and stops. From the nearest bus stop, you may need to walk or take a ride-share service to reach the preserve entrance. A single ride on SunLine costs $1.
