From Mountain View Station, walk to the bus stop on Castro St. and board the VTA Bus Line 32 towards Los Altos. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at El Monte Ave & Los Trancos Rd. From the bus stop, walk approximately 0.5 miles northeast on Los Trancos Rd to reach the entrance of Los Trancos Open Space Preserve.

    If you prefer to bike, start at Palo Alto, and head south on Middlefield Rd. Continue south until you reach the intersection with El Camino Real.
