Public Transportation
From downtown Palo Alto, walk to the Palo Alto Transit Center located at 420 Whitney Ave. Take the Caltrain northbound towards San Francisco. Get off at the Menlo Park station. From Menlo Park, transfer to the 34 bus at the Menlo Park Caltrain station. Board the bus heading towards Portola Valley. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Portola Road stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to The Couple Bench located at 200 Portola Rd. You will walk south on Portola Road until you reach the bench, which is set in a serene area.
