    The Oceano Dunes Visitor Center is located at 555 Pier Ave, a few blocks east of the beach. From most points in Oceano, it's easily accessible by foot. From the beach, walk east on Pier Avenue.

  • Public Transport

    San Luis Obispo Regional Transit Authority (SLORTA) Route 24 connects nearby cities to Oceano. From the bus stop on Highway 1, walk west on Pier Avenue to reach the visitor center. A single ride fare is approximately $3.

  • Driving

    From Highway 1, turn west onto Pier Avenue. The visitor center is located at 555 Pier Ave. Parking is available at the visitor center. There is no charge for parking at the visitor center.

The Oceano Dunes Visitor Center acts as the central hub for those eager to discover the wonders of the Oceano Dunes and Pismo State Beach.
