The San Leandro History Museum is easily accessible via public transportation. From the San Leandro BART station, it's approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Head west on Davis Street, then turn left onto Estudillo Avenue. The museum will be on your left, next to Casa Peralta. AC Transit also has several bus lines that stop near the museum, including lines 10, 28, and 801. Check AC Transit schedules for the most up-to-date information. A ride on AC Transit will cost $2.50.

If you are already in downtown San Leandro, the museum is within easy walking distance. From the intersection of East 14th Street and Estudillo Avenue, walk west on Estudillo Avenue for about 5 blocks. The museum will be on your left, next to Casa Peralta. This is a pleasant walk through a residential neighborhood. Allow about 15 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking.

If driving, from I-880 take the Davis Street exit and head east. Turn right onto Hays Street, then right onto W. Estudillo Avenue. The museum will be on your right. Free 2-hour parking is available in front of the museum and in the San Leandro Plaza shopping area behind the museum. Unrestricted parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood. Be aware that parking can be limited during peak hours. Parrott Parking, located at 101 Parrott St, offers parking with hourly rates that may vary depending on the time of day and demand.
