Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the main town of Avalon. Head north on Crescent Ave toward Sumner Ave. Continue onto Avalon Canyon Rd and follow it for about 1.5 miles. Take a left onto Divide Rd. The Garden To Sky Summit will be on your right at 400 Divide Rd. There is no parking directly at the summit; you may need to park at designated parking areas in Avalon and walk to the summit.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take the Catalina Island Transit bus from Avalon. Board the bus at the main transit stop located near the Green Pleasure Pier. Ensure you ask the driver to drop you off at the closest stop to Divide Rd. From there, you will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles along Divide Rd to reach Garden To Sky Summit. Please check the bus schedule in advance as services may vary.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk from Avalon, start at the center of town and head north along Crescent Ave. Follow the same route as mentioned for the car: continue onto Avalon Canyon Rd for about 1.5 miles, then take a left onto Divide Rd. The hike is moderately steep, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water. It will take about 30-40 minutes to walk to the summit from Avalon.

• Bicycle Rental

  You can also rent a bicycle in Avalon. Biking is a popular way to explore the area. Rent a bike from one of the local shops and head north along Avalon Canyon Rd. After about 1.5 miles, take a left onto Divide Rd. The summit is about 0.5 miles ahead. Be prepared for some uphill biking, which can be a good workout. Rental costs may vary, so check local shops for prices.
