Public Transport - Ferry
To reach the Catalina Museum for Art & History located at 217 Metropole Ave, Avalon, CA, you will first need to take a ferry from mainland California to Avalon. The Catalina Express operates ferries from Long Beach, San Pedro, and Dana Point. After purchasing your ferry ticket, board the ferry and enjoy the scenic ride to Avalon. Once you arrive at the Avalon ferry terminal, exit the terminal and walk straight down Crescent Avenue. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Metropole Avenue. Turn left onto Metropole Avenue, and the museum will be on your right, just a short walk from the ferry terminal.

If you are already in Avalon, you can easily walk to the Catalina Museum for Art & History. Start from the Avalon's main beach area, head east along Crescent Avenue towards the ferry terminal. Once you reach the terminal area, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Metropole Avenue. Turn left onto Metropole Avenue and walk a few blocks. The museum will be on your right at 217 Metropole Ave, marked with signage and easily recognizable.
