Start from Huntington Beach Pier. Head south along the beach boardwalk for about 3 miles until you reach the end of the boardwalk. Continue walking south on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) for approximately 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Avalon Blvd. Turn left onto Avalon Blvd and follow the signs to the Catalina Island Visitor Center located at 1 Green Pleasure Pier, Avalon, CA 90704.

From Huntington Beach Pier, rent a bike at a nearby rental shop. Ride south on the beach boardwalk for about 3 miles, then transition to Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) heading south for another mile. Once you reach the intersection with Avalon Blvd, turn left and continue until you arrive at the Catalina Island Visitor Center at 1 Green Pleasure Pier, Avalon, CA 90704.
