    Start from Huntington Beach Pier. Head south along the beach boardwalk for about 3 miles until you reach the end of the boardwalk. Continue walking south on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) for approximately 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Avalon Blvd. Turn left onto Avalon Blvd and follow the signs to the Catalina Island Visitor Center located at 1 Green Pleasure Pier, Avalon, CA 90704.

    From Huntington Beach Pier, rent a bike at a nearby rental shop. Ride south on the beach boardwalk for about 3 miles, then transition to Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) heading south for another mile.
