Walk approximately 0.5 miles northeast on Sierra Rd to reach the entrance of Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve.

Begin your bike ride from the Santa Clara University campus. Head east on the Lawrence Expressway bike path. Continue until you reach the intersection with Sierra Rd. Turn left onto Sierra Rd and ride approximately 6 miles until you reach the entrance of Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve. Ensure you have a map or GPS for this route as it involves navigating through residential areas.

If you are near the Santa Clara Central Park, you can walk to Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve. Start at the park and head east on Homestead Rd. Walk towards the intersection with Lawrence Expressway. Cross the expressway and continue on Sierra Rd for about 3 miles until you reach the preserve.
